Christmas itself is a religious festival, a celebration of the birth of Jesus, thus known as Christmas Day.
December 25 is located in each year, which is the western countries the most important holiday of the year.
On Christmas Day, most of the Catholic Church will be held on Christmas Eve Midnight Mass in the early morning of December 25 and December 24; and the other branches of Christianity - Orthodox Christmas celebrations in the annual January 7 .
Now, Christmas has become a public holiday in the United States and Europe, somewhat similar to China's Spring Festival, is the family reunion. But in recent years, the festival is also very popular in Asian countries.
